Minnesota Polygon Coasters
Keep your tables dry with these completely unique pieces of Minnesota pride! Designed and created in Saint Paul, Minnesota, these coasters use laser cut Baltic birch panels, a variety of premium stains, and a non-slip cork bottom.
I designed this piece utilizing a minimalist, stained glass wood style. Minnesota is my lifelong home and I know how proud its residents are. I digitally trace the shape of the state, break it up into polygons and then engrave it onto a Baltic birch panel. Then I cut identical pieces, stain them and glue them onto the board. Finally, I glue a cork base underneath and finish it with two coats of polyurethane to protect it from moisture. I hope you enjoy having it in your home as much as I enjoyed creating it!
These coasters come in sets of four and are 4” in diameter and 3/8” thick.
